Hey friends,
I’m looking to create a magickal oil blend to enhance my creativity for my new creative work endeavor. However, as I checked some of my go-to herb and oil books and resources, very little turned up for herbs corresponding to creativity.
Here’s a list I found in “Magical Oils by Moonlight” by Maya Heath according to her appendix:
- Apricot
- Cassia/Cinnamon
- Hyssop
- Tangerine
- Vervain
After checking my faithful books, I turned to the ‘net and found this recipe for
INSPIRATION POWDER ~ Inspire confidence and success. Sprinkle on the person to increase their creativity, optimism and achievement.
1/2 tsp Pine needles dried & crushed
1/2 tsp Lily root
1/2 tsp Hyacinth
1/4 tsp Clove powder
Information on this topic seems a little too sparse. Since there doesn’t seem to be a definitive list of correspondences for creativity, let’s create a list together! How appropriate right? Please comment on this post with the herbs and oils you correspond with creativity. As I do more research, I’ll create my own list and post it here too.
My thought is that perhaps a simpler angle will be to create a blend for inspiration, which can utilize Air correspondences.
Post your thoughts and correspondences here!

Blessings again.
If you are still looking for some magickal ingredients for creativity, let me suggest a really good book for you.
‘The Encyclopedia of Magickal Ingredients’ by Lexa Rosean. It is a VERY GOOD and PRICELESS book to have in your collection of Pagan/Wiccan books.
Have a beautiful week.
