Garnet’s Thoughts: I love Yule, particularly because this time a year is very meaningful for me. Because it’s my birthday, it’s a great time to “start fresh” and begin again. Originally, the idea behind Yule is that from this point on the days are getting longer and it’s the return of the Sun – but living in Texas, this doesn’t hold a lot of meaning for me when it’s always sunny and 80 degrees outside! When it comes toYule, my focus is the death of the old and the beginning of the new – a time of transformation. Happy Yule!
What does Yule mean for you? How do you celebrate?
